STALKER 2 Best End-Game Builds

Whether this is your first time or you are a veteran of the Zone, getting through the latter parts of STALKER 2 in one piece takes luck, a lot of effort, and the right gear.

There’s no one-size-fits-all build, but some are more viable than others. Each STALKER 2 end-game loadout in this list has weapons fit for both close combat and long-range engagements. Some of them lean toward heavy armor, others bank on mobility.

The only way to make it in the Zone is with a bolt in one hand and a good gun in the other.

Pick from this list based on your play style and tactical situation, and don’t be scared to mix and match.

5 The Heavy

RPM-74, SVDM-2, Rhino & PSZ-21W Shturm

STALKER 2 Heavy Machine Gunner

If you’ve suffered through AAA shooters in the last 15 years, you know these guys love to throw in heavy gunners. Evil, lumbering bastards decked out in the hardest armor, hip-firing their machine guns at you with great prejudice.

If you put together this kit, you too can become that insufferable guy. The exosuit makes you nearly impervious to combat damage and radiation, allowing you to lay down the hate undisturbed.

The SVDM-2 compensates for the RPM-74’s poor performance and optics for long-range combat. Last but certainly not least, since the machine gun reload times are obnoxious, you get the Rhino on the holster. It’s the perfect tool to solve business disputes and dispatch mutants.

4 The Spetsnaz

AS Lavina, SVU-MK S-3 & SEVA-V

STALKER 2 Spetsnaz

You, too, can live out the 1990s Ukrainian Spetsnaz aesthetic with this build. The core feature here is rolling light and stealthy while having tons of room in your backpack for looted gear and supplies.

The Lavina is the quietest assault rifle in the game. It has an impressive rate of fire, and its round packs more of a punch than any other weapon in its class. In the right hands, especially if you find the 30-round extended mag, it is a stealth operator’s dream.

To compensate for the poor ranged performance of the 9x39mm cartridge, the SVU-MK S-3 comes in handy. This special forces classic is the perfect sniper rifle while also doubling as a mutant-purging deity thanks to its stopping power.

3 The Soldier

Kharod (ft. Two Oh Three, ACOG, and Suppressor), Saiga D-12 & PSZ-9I Falcon

STALKER 2 Soldier

The Zone is full of surprises and unpleasantries, and if you are up for some exploring later in the game, you want to be powerful but also mobile.

This build relies on durable armor for that, while this Kharod setup keeps you dangerous across the board. The ACOG, grenade launcher, and suppressor put it on the heavier side for an assault rifle in exchange for stealth and awe-inspiring firepower at any range.

The Saiga D-12 takes care of any mutant work you have for it thanks to its insane rate of fire, and Skif’s good old Makarov does the job as a sidearm.

2 The Nutcracker

Dnipro, Mark I EMR & PSZ-5D

STALKER 2 Nutcracker

The NPC progression is a controversial point in STALKER 2. In the final parts of the game, everyone you meet is rocking an exosuit, which can make combat a little difficult unless you use mods to fix that.

Because not all radioactive rocks are born equal.

Fortunately, for every problem, there is a solution. The Dnipro assault rifle gives you the rate of fire and reliability of the Kalashnikov but with excellent penetration stats. At longer ranges, good old .308 makes holes in helmets like it’s nobody’s business.

This build relies on staying mobile and shooting first, rather than tanking hits. The only downside here is cost, as .308 is one of the hardest calibers to stock in the Zone reliably.

Integral-A, Gauss Rifle & Liberty Exoskeleton

STALKER 2 Meta

If you’re all about optimizing your loadout, this is the one for you. I don’t like it too much as it makes parts of the game almost too easy, but using this is a godsend in the final missions where everyone and their cousin has a Gauss rifle.

The setup is simple enough: the Integral-A melts straight through armor even with regular ammunition thanks to the rate of fire, so long as you have the expanded magazine attachment to back you up.

If you end up outnumbered or have something far away to shoot at, just duck behind cover and let the Gauss gun sing. Yes, each shot slashes Skif’s apartment repair savings in half, but it’s that or certain death.

The Liberty Exoskeleton gives you additional resistance against the enemy’s Gauss and sniper rifle spam, allowing you to eat a couple of extra shots compared to the average suit. It’s not much, but it can be the difference between dying and making it to the next cover.
