The hype train for Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered continues to gain momentum with a flurry of leaked information. Users of the cloud-gaming service Boosteroid have reported seeing the highly-anticipated remaster in their game libraries.

Reddit user Amnesial- posted a steam link titled “Oblivion Remaster” after apparently spotting the game in the Boosteroid app. The link leads to the App ID: 2623190 in the Steam Database, which appears as an “unknown app,” and the post has since been removed by moderators of the BoosteroidCommunity subreddit.

According to the database history, the app was added to Steam DB in 2023 and has been updated many times, including the latest update, which came just a few minutes before Bethesda’s big announcement.
An additional leak from the Twitter/X user Ser_Raven18 (Via ScreenRant) appears to show screenshots from a conversation they had with Xbox support staff regarding a release date and what platforms the game would be available on.
The screenshots reveal that the Oblivion remaster may have been set to release on April 21st, and that it will likely be available as an Xbox Game Pass Day One release.

The recent trail of clues that gamers have been eagerly following began with images reportedly originating from the website of the game development company Virtuoso.
The images show enhanced versions of combat, landscapes, and buildings, and instantly created a frenzy for more information about the upcoming remake.

Even though the links lead to inactive pages, it’s easy to see why gamers are investigating. With sneak-peaks of gameplay, steamDB listings, interactions with Xbox Support, and a mic-drop moment from Bethesda, the build-up to this announcement couldn’t be more epic.
With Elder Scrolls 6 releasing no sooner than 2026, it seems like the perfect time for fans of the Elder Scrolls series to relive one of the greatest RPG’s in the gaming world.
While we can’t say for certain, the consensus seems to be that there is a possibility of diving into a revitalized version of Oblivion as early as this week. The official announcement will be live-streamed on Bethesda’s Youtube and Twitch channels scheduled for April 22, 2025, at 11am ET/8am PT.
