In Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, after getting to the Krasnogorje Mountaintop and talking to EVA, you will find out that Sokolov is held in the West wing of the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab. But getting here will not be easy. First, you need to fight the supposedly final member of the Cobras, The Fury.

But that isn’t the main challenge here. What will really put your stealth skills to the test is how you manage to steal Major Raikov’s Uniform. You need to take out your Scientist camouflage, while also keeping a spare outfit ready for CQC. Here is how you can get Major Raikov’s uniform in MGS Delta, and how to interrogate the guards for the door frequency.

To get Major Raikov’s uniform, you need to knock him out and drag him to the changing room on the first floor, which is connected to the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: Main Wing.

The easiest way to do this is by wearing the Scientist camouflage and roaming the area until you find Major Raikov.

Just because you have the disguise doesn’t mean the guards and other scientists can’t recognize you. Make sure you don’t get too close to them or do anything suspicious, as it can alert them to your presence.

While roaming, you can get familiar with all the doors that are open, the usual walking spots of the guards, and the scientists. Scientists usually don’t move around much; you can find one in the library and others in the research room.

As for guards, there are at least two guards on the ground floor, and one guard patrolling the area outside the research room.

Sound The Alarm To Get Major Raikov Into Hiding

Now, there are two ways you can find Major Raikov. First is taking the long approach; here, you have to wait until Raikov completes his rounds of the east wing. The second is the harder but guaranteed method, where you can sound the alarm and hide in the bathroom while wearing your Scientist camouflage.

Wait In The Bathroom Until Caution Meter Reaches 0

Make sure you stand in the stalls, and eventually you will see Raikov rush to the bathroom and head into the room with the toilet. Wait for the Caution meter to hit 0, and when the comms announce everyone to return to their position, you will see Major Raikov come out.

Wait for a few seconds until he goes out; you want him to go back upstairs. Go out, but don’t follow him too closely, or he will alert the guards. Walk up the stairs and watch from outside the room to see if he is walking towards the locker room.

Make sure to eat some food before approaching him. If you are on one bar of hunger, your stomach can growl, which will alert the Major.

Drag Major Raikov To The Lockers To Steal His Uniform

Once Raikov is in your line of sight, rush inside. Finally, make one last check near the locker room for any nearby guards. If it is just you and Raikov, switch into any combat clothes that let you use CQC and knock Major Raikov out. Drag him to the lockers, and a cutscene will play where Snake steals his uniform.

Before knocking Raikov out, you can interrogate him to get an extra dialogue where he claims that the Colonel’s weakness is water.

Now, before heading to the west wing, make sure you equip both Raikov’s uniform and his face mask. If you just wear the uniform, the guards outside the door will recognize you and alert others while attacking you.

How To Get The Armory Door Frequency In MGS Delta To Get Scorpion

You can get the door frequency by interrogating any guard you find. When you enter the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing for the first time, while exploring the ground floor, you will find some doors that won’t open. Here, EVA will call you and tell you to ask for the code from someone, but will not explain how to do that.

Interrogate A Guard For Door Frequency To The Armory

So, the solution is to sneak up on an unsuspecting guard, and when the area is clear, crawl up behind them, then grab them and press L3 or Left Stick on your controller to interrogate them.

Do not let go of the button until they have given you the door code. Letting go early gives them a chance to call other guards.

Once you have the frequency, knock out the guard you just interrogated. Now, stand next to the locked door, then press down on your D-pad to open the radio. Go to the tune tab, and tune it to the given frequency. The two frequencies that work can be either 145.86 or 148.13.

Even if you know the frequency from this guide, you still need to interrogate a guard in your game for this to work.

Tune Door Frequency Outside The Armory To Open The Door

Finally, click send, and the door should open. The ground floor doors lead you to the armory, and here you can find the Scorpion SMG. Aside from that, you can also use the door frequency to open some doors on the 1st floor, which can come in handy if you are using some other method to steal Major Raikov’s uniform.
