I recommend setting up the base near the shore in Dayton Wetlands to ensure a consistent supply of food and water. Upgrading the base facilities may take some time, but you won’t run out of essential items for survival.

The location covers everything you need for the early-game progression. It’s recommended to make salt after fetching Sea water, as once you move to high-tier areas, Sea water might not be available in the vicinity.

Survival is extreme, especially for the Hard-mode servers with higher hunger and hydration depletion rates.

9 Near The Highland Rift Anchor

It’s a very decent area for early-to-mid-game content. I stayed in the area until I unlocked high-tier memetics, which enabled me to process Aluminum and Tungsten Ores. The Highland Rift Anchor’s area has decent mid-tier loot that can be disassembled to get suitable materials for crafting your gear and weapons.

Plenty of Iron ore can be used to make steel ingots required to place high-tier facilities. I recommend transitioning from Copper ammunition to Steel ammunition once you’ve shifted to this area.

8 At The Edge Of Dayton Wetlands

(5551, -2352)

Most high-tier areas are locked in Phase One, so you can’t access Chalk Peak, Red Sands, and the Blackheart regions. That makes it tough to farm Crude oil, which can be processed into Portable Mixed Fuel and Barreled Premium Fuel.

However, you can still farm Crude oil at this place with Water pumps and set up Super Refineries (which need specialization ) or normal refineries to process it. You have to place the Water pumps very close to the barrier, and you’ll be able to extract Crude Oil.

7 Near White Cliff

(3025, 991)

A small oasis amidst the barren land is what you’re looking for a spot to build a beautiful base. However, like Palworld, your base has a structural limit, so make sure to judiciously use the space.

You can storm Rosetta’s White Cliff base to farm Platinum crystals and Special plastic by opening weapon and storage crates.

The road nearby has plenty of cars to loot, and you can get Portable Mixed Fuels. You can butcher nearby animals to farm Goat meat and Deer milk, which can be used to produce unique dishes.

With the abundance of Ores, you can craft many ingots, even Silver ones, to sell them for Energy Links.

6 A Twilight Zone in Red Sands

People who want to live in solitude away from settlements are welcome to place their territory terminals here. The area also features a twilight zone of pollution and a normal environment, which enables water pumps to get Polluted Water and Dirty Water from the ground.

You can see Startrace Ore nodes in the distance, which can be used to craft Stardust sources (with Oil Processing Specialization ) or sell them at the vending machine.

5 In A Polluted Area In Chalk Peak

Situated in a massive pollution zone, this area features an abundance of Startrace Ore nodes that can be used to produce a Stardust source in Electric Furnace, for which you need the Oil processing specialization.

You can deploy Deviation Energy generators to get more power output and set up an acid farm. I recommend farming high-tier Electic Eels to increase the power output of Deviation Energy generators.

4 Near Evergreen Rift Anchor In Red Sands

A popular area with high-tier loot like Platinum crystals and Special plastic. You can set up an Acid farm in the polluted area and occasionally go for Deviant hunting to farm some acid. If you need more materials, the storage crates in houses nearby will fulfill your immediate needs.

The area is near the Blackfell refinery, where most end-game refinery runs will occur. You can quickly run to the refinery and start a permit to get the rewards.

3 Behind The Blackfell Stronghold

The area contains monsters, especially Elite ones, possessing high-tier loot. It’s my go-to place for Special plastic and Electronic parts. You can set up Deviation Energy generators in the polluted zone and take a detour to vendors at the Blackfell stronghold to complete weekly commissions.

Resource-wise, the area is impressive. However, the ambiance might not be up to the mark for players looking for a cheerful environment. With that said, you can sldo farm Goat meat to make dishes that will restore your health over time.

2 Near the Riverbank by the Securement Silo Theta

A fantastic option for all oil farmers who want to stack their inventories with Portable Mixed Fuel and Barreled Premium Fuel. The area has a river nearby, where hydraulic generators can be placed in the body of Water.

In case you’re short on materials, you can hop on the bike to the Silo and get materials from it. People who are not fond of farming crops should settle down here, as you can make dishes from nearby plants.

Silo Theta is awesome for farming EXP ( with Orange Pie ) and Acid ( from Deviants )

1 BlackFell Oil Fields

The most popular base location has an abundance of resources nearby. You can run multiple refinery runs and fight Elite and Normal mobs to get Acid. There’s a twilight zone of Stardust pollution and a normal environment.

This means half of your base can be in the pollution zone while the rest is in the normal zone. You can place Deviation Energy generators in the polluted area and deploy multiple water pumps to extract crude oil and polluted Water to get better power output.
