Vernworth is the capital city and one of the biggest places you will visit in DD2. It is also one of the first places you’ll visit after spawning. Knowing exactly what you’re able to do in this city will help you not only navigate, but progress through the game.

Vernworth is located south of Melve. You can either choose to walk the main path or take an oxcart to get there faster. The Melve oxcart station will be located on the outskirts of the town near the crossroads. If you choose to walk to Vernworth, try to ensure you have a camping kit as the creatures become even more dangerous at night.

The Dragon's Dogma 2 is speaking with Neomith, purchasing incense from the Pawn Guild.

Utilize your map and you’ll discover these points of interest. A notable spot will be the Merchant Quarter where you can purchase various items or enhance the equipment you already have. North Vernworth Oxcart Station

This Oxcart will take you to Melve.

West Vernworth Oxcart Station

This Oxcart will take you to Checkpoint Rest Town.

Diviner’s Salon

A fortune-teller at the Diviner’s Salon can give you a hint of where you should go or what you should do for a fee.

You’ll receive this quest from Klark in the Noble Quarter.

Quest is received from Sven and Auriol. This will be in the Merchant Quarters of Vernworth.

Speak with Brant at The Stardrop Inn after beginning Halls of the First Dawn.

A Trial of Archery

Given after completing Gift of the Bow. Given to you by Glyndwr in front of Roderick’s Smithy.

Speak with Mildred who will be at the main entrance of The Stardrop Inn.

Seat of the Sovran

Given to you when you arrive in Vernworth by Captain Brant. Quest is available after the flashback cutscene when arriving in Melve, connected to In Dragon’s Wake.

Received from Simon after completing the Welcome to Battahl quest.

You must hear a rumor from Oswald about Ser Ludolph then talk with Margit. The location is Watchead’s home.

The Heel of History

After donating food to Kendrick twice, you’ll receive this quest in The Slums from Kendrick.

A Beggar’s Tale

Talk with Benton or you can get the Beggar’s Garb.
